Designed ebook covers for the international publishing house, Saga Egmont. I was assigned to French historical fiction titles, tasked with taking projects from concept through final production. I developed cohesive visual identities for individual books and series while using typography, imagery, color, and texture to reflect each story’s themes and period.
Émile Gaboriau’s
Detective Le Coq series
The design direction for this series drew inspiration from classic Sherlock Holmes covers, particularly their use of striking silhouettes. Each novel was given a distinct color palette to create visual distinction while maintaining a cohesive series identity.
Gaston Leroux’s
Detective Rouletabille Series
The design direction builds on the visual themes of the original covers. Simple, character-driven illustrations with period inspired color palettes bring the protagonists to the forefront while ensuring a visually integrated collection of covers.
